Founder and Managing Director, PER

Gail McManus founded PER, Private Equity Recruitment Ltd, in 1998 to focus on the specialist recruitment needs of the private equity and venture capital community. She has an MBA from London Business School and has been involved with private equity for almost thirty years. Gail started her private equity investment career at 3i in 1981 in a regional office investing in some of the UK’s earliest management buy–outs. She then became 3i’s UK business development manager and worked with 3i teams all over the UK and Europe. After eleven years, she moved into recruitment later founding PER, which has now become one of the leading international recruiters for private equity investment professionals in the UK and Europe.
