Patrice Etlin

Managing Partner, Advent International

Patrice Etlin joined Advent International in 1997 and started the firm’s investment activities in Brazil. He has 14 years of private equity experience. From 1994 to 1997, Patrice was a partner at International Venture Partners in São Paulo, where he was responsible for the overall operation of a media and communications fund focused on Brazil. Previously he was a General Representative for Brazil at Matra Marconi Space, a subsidiary of Matra-Hacette e Gec-Marconi, and member of the Strategic and Development Group of Matra-Hachette.

Patrice received and undergraduate degree in electronic engineering from the University of São Paulo, a master’s in industrial engineering from École Centrale de Paris and and MBA from INSEAD.

Patrice is a board member of Totvs S.A., Atmosfera Gestão e Higienização de Têxteis Ltda., Pronto!, Lojas Quero-Quero S.A. and Kroton Educacional S.A.. Previously, he was also a board member of Atrium Telecomunicações, J. Malucelli Seguradora, Proservvi Banco de Serviços, Grupo RA Participações and CSU CardSystem S.A.

Patrice is also Vice President and a board member of ABVCAP, a member of Listing Committee of Bovespa Mais and a board member of GVCepe at Fundação Getulio Vargas.
