Ashmeet Sidana
Partner, Foundation Capital

Most recently, Mr. Sidana was at VMware (acquired by NYSE:EMC) where he was responsible for multiple products including Virtual SMP, P2V and their flagship product, ESX Server. Prior to VMware, Mr. Sidana was CEO of Sidana Systems, a successful enterprise-software company that pioneered Docsan for publishing ultra-large (terabyte) documents. He bootstrapped Sidana Systems from inception through growth to its acquisition by Doclinx. Ashmeet began his professional career at Hewlett-Packard and later Silicon Graphics, holding various key technology roles. Mr. Sidana currently serves on the board of Pano Logic, Sanrad, Altor Networks, Simply Hired, and Zetta. Mr. Sidana received an M.Sc. from Stanford University and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
