Robert Long
Managing Director, Allied Capital

Robert Long, Managing Director in the New York office, has been employed by Allied Capital since 2002 and currently serves as Head of Asset Management. Prior to joining Allied Capital, Mr. Long was Managing Director and Head of Investment Banking at C.E. Unterberg from 2001 to 2002, and Managing Director at E*OFFERING/ Wit SoundView from 2000 to 2001. He also held management positions at Bank of America (Montgomery Securities) from 1996 to 2000, and Nomura Securities International from 1992 to 1996. Prior to that he served as a Managing Director at CS First Boston. Mr. Long earned his B.A. from McGill University.
