Prior to joining Centerbridge, Kyle Cruz was a Vice President at Diamond Castle Holdings, a private equity firm founded by former senior professionals of DLJ Merchant Banking Partners. Prior to Diamond Castle, Mr. Cruz worked in private equity as an Associate for DLJ Merchant Banking Partners and J.W. Childs Associates, a Boston based private equity firm. Mr. Cruz began his career as an Analyst in the Mergers & Acquisitions Department of Goldman, Sachs & Co. Mr. Cruz graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Michigan where he earned a B.B.A., with High Distinction, and received an M.B.A., with honors, from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he was a Palmer Scholar.
