John Crocker
Managing Director, Citigroup Private Fund Group

John Crocker focuses on origination, project management and distribution. Citigroup, as one of the leading placement groups, has represented a broad array of general partners in raising capital commitments from institutional and high net worth investors. Prior to joining Citigroup, Mr. Crocker was a partner at Capital Z Investment Partners, a leading sponsor of alternative investment managers. Mr. Crocker’s work experience includes being a partner in CSFB’s Customized Fund Investment Group, and prior to that building the alternative investment fund of funds business at Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette from $200 million in assets under management in 1996 to over $6 billion in 2000. Mr. Crocker graduated with honors from Harvard College, where he majored in economics, and received an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
