John Caple
Principal, Bayside Capital

John Caple focuses on making investments in a wide range of securities seeking to partner with owners and managers of companies to grow businesses and create long-term value. Mr. Caple specializes in assisting companies to overcome financial or operational challenges and he has extensive experience in out-of-court restructurings, plans of reorganization, bankruptcy sales, DIP financings and related transactions. Mr. Caple currently serves on the board of directors for a number of Bayside investments. Prior to joining Bayside, John was with Bain & Company, one of the top strategy consulting firms in the world. While at Bain, Mr. Caple led due diligence assignments for some of the largest private equity funds in both the United States and Europe. Mr. Caple also led a variety of strategy assignments for major corporate clients in logistics, retail, manufacturing and telecommunications. He holds a B.A. from Stanford University and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
