Michael J. Bevan

Element Partners provides growth equity capital to sustainable technology and service businesses. Mr. Bevan has more than 13 years of private equity investment experience, and has helped to manage six private equity partnerships focused on alternative energy and sustainability. Mr. Bevan’s primary areas of investment focus include water purification, advanced materials, sensing technologies, advanced fuels, and emissions abatement. Prior to Element, Mr. Bevan was a Partner at Advent International, where he co-managed the firm’s two environmental investment partnerships. Before Advent, Mr. Bevan was a Principal at EnerTech Capital a firm he helped to launch in 1996. Mr. Bevan received a B.A. in English from Denison University and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
